Ron Kertzner

Leadership & Organizational Coach

About me

Ron Kertzner brings over 30 years of experience as a leadership coach and trainer, guiding leaders in both nonprofit and corporate sectors, including Google, Intuit, the Lundy Foundation, and the State of Colorado. A graduate of Duke University (Public Policy) and Boston University School of Law, he began his career in Washington, D.C. as a Congressional intern, journalist, and nonprofit attorney. He later served on the facilitation team for two bipartisan Congressional retreats.

Ron’s postgraduate training includes work with the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and MIT’s Dialogue Project. Most recently, he has earned certifications in the fields of neuroscience, coherence, and change, weaving science-based insight with heart-centered leadership.

He has been married to his wife and business partner, Sue, for 30 years, and they share deep pride in their beautiful daughter, born in Guatemala, whose passion for horses has been a source of inspiration and growth for their family.

The Center for Collaborative Democracy is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit and the sponsor of the Grand Bargain Project. We strive to help every American reach their potential by working with business leaders, consumer advocates, labor unions, environmentalists, civil rights groups and other major stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for our nation’s most critical problems. We see that process as necessary to reduce the hyper-polarization that threatens our democracy.
