Advisor on Development

About me

Elizabeth Sheldon will be joining the Grand Bargain Project as a donor engagement consultant, developing and assisting with the implementation of a short-term fundraising strategy while fostering long-term engagement and relationships with potential donors. She brings a multidisciplinary background, with over a decade of experience in public engagement and digital strategy.

Elizabeth began her career in environmental sciences, working in a NOAA lab studying species impacted by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and later as a nationally recognized organizer and fundraiser with Greenpeace USA. Her work has consistently focused on engaging with bipartisan and high-net-worth audiences around pragmatic solutions for a healthy environment and democracy.

As the founder of Just Juniper Media, Elizabeth has led digital marketing and strategic communications initiatives for mission-driven companies and nonprofits working toward a more sustainable and pragmatic world. Her clients span sectors including climate, clean energy, public health, and democracy reform. She recently served as the Director of the Leadership Circle and fractional COO of Solution Citizen, where she organized bipartisan and solutions-oriented conversations with leaders including Van Jones, Andrew Yang, Mike Madrid, and Jay Faison, among many others active in the climate and democracy spaces.

Elizabeth holds a BSc (Hons) in Zoology with a concentration in Ecology, Evolution and Organismal Biology from Michigan State University and currently resides in London.

The Center for Collaborative Democracy is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit and the sponsor of the Grand Bargain Project. We strive to help every American reach their potential by working with business leaders, consumer advocates, labor unions, environmentalists, civil rights groups and other major stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for our nation’s most critical problems. We see that process as necessary to reduce the hyper-polarization that threatens our democracy.
