Hannah Bouillon
Administrative Coordinator for the Executive Team

About me
Hannah joins the Center for Collaborative Democracy as an Administrative Assistant supporting the executive team. Her work includes managing evolving scheduling needs for the organization, project coordination, and assisting the workshop and engagement teams to help ensure things run smoothly.
Before joining CCD, Hannah most recently worked at the Meridian Institute across projects in the environmental sector, convening various stakeholders, collaborating across organizations, and authoring briefings and recommendations. Her work included such topics as reuse and refill systems, deforestation in South America, and agriculture, as well as being on the organization's mindfulness and wellbeing coalition.
Earlier in her academics and her career, Hannah applied her passion for collaboration, facilitation, and coalition building working for Bridging the Gap, an organization that brings students together to engage in "courageous conversations" about religion, politics, and race. Eager to learn more about the social psychological processes used in collaboration, Hannah developed a strong interest in research. During undergrad, she coauthored a paper with faculty from multiple institutions for an interdisciplinary research project funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The research seeks to use mental models to encourage open minded thinking, intellectual humility, and perspective taking in college students. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Oberlin College with minors in Politics and Peace and Conflict Studies.
Originally from a small town in Ohio, Hannah now lives in Arlington Virginia.
